Cascades at Riverwalk in Midvale, Utah is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our skilled nursing team on a part-time Day shift (Sunday and Thursday, 6am-6pm). You will administer medications, document care, support infection control, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and residents to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

The role offers on-the-job training, professional development, and a supportive work environment focused on teamwork and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Active Utah LPN license required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in long-term geriatric nursing care preferred.
• Strong communication and empathy with residents and families.
• English reading and verbal communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and document medications, tests, and treatments.
• Record time spent performing individual treatments in EMR.
• Ensure proper storage and security of prescription drugs and biologicals.
• Notify physician of refusals, non-compliance, or adverse reactions.
• Keep medication cart, refrigerator, and rooms neat and properly stocked.
• Dispose of sharps safely and correctly.
• Enter key information into EMR and other computer systems.
• Practice infection control and universal precautions; follow safety policies.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and disasters.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
