Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse licensed in the state.
• CMAC certification preferred.
• Experience in geriatrics nursing.
• Knowledge of the Resident Assessment Instrument and applicable rules.
• Knowledge of SNF Part A Medicare and Consolidated billing rules.

Responsibilities

• Organizational skills and ability to schedule and meet deadlines.
• Monitor the overall medical record to validate support of MDS coding.
• Work with interdisciplinary team to assure timely completion of Care Area Triggers and Patient Care Plans.
• Support the accuracy of medical record documentation through ongoing in-services to center partners.
