Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and currently licensed to practice nursing in Missouri.
• CMAC Certification preferred.
• Professional experience in geriatrics nursing.
• Knowledge of the Resident Assessment Instrument and applicable rules.
• Understanding of SNF Part A Medicare and Consolidated billing rules.

Responsibilities

• Organizational skills to schedule and meet deadlines.
• Monitor medical records to validate MDS coding.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team for Care Area Trigger completion.
• Support medical record accuracy through ongoing training.
