Job summary

Trevecca Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee seeks a full-time Respiratory Therapist to join a Skilled Nursing facility team. You should be passionate about geriatric care, hold a state license, and be able to evaluate and treat independently, with a focus on functional therapy for residents to improve their experience.

Responsibilities include assessments, initiating therapies, documenting, attending IDT meetings, and applying advanced respiratory interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program; Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state where practicing; BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to progress rehab patients.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate equipment.
• Complete essential bedside treatments.
• Attend applicable IDT meetings.
• Maintain daily, weekly and monthly documentation.
• Follow facility procedures and policies.
