Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed by state as RRT or CRT.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory therapy to maintain or rehab patients with respiratory illnesses.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate and assemble equipment.
• Complete bedside treatments.
• Complete in-services for nursing staff quarterly.
• Document daily, weekly and monthly activities.
• Attend IDT meetings.
• Experience with tracheotomy.
• Experience in long-term care setting.
• Follow facility procedures and protocols.
• Conduct tracking, auditing and caseload management.
• Perform related duties as required.
