Qualifications
Must maintain an active and valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology.
In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
SNF/Long term care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
Evaluate residents' conditions for swallowing or cognitive deficits.
Help residents achieve their goals to improve cognition or swallowing.
Provide skilled speech and language therapy assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans to increase independence.
Provide AAC systems for individuals with severe language disorders.
Coordinate for diagnostic swallowing procedures as ordered.
Skills
Active/Valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology
