Job summary

AED CONSTRUCTORES in Atascadero, CA, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a Skilled Nursing Facility. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help geriatric patients regain mobility, improve strength, and enhance overall quality of life in a supportive team setting.

You will administer therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, and educate patients and caregivers, while ensuring compliance with facility policies and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California.
• Minimum of 6 months of PTA experience within the last 5 years preferred.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients in a Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility activities.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and mobility techniques.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments and patient progress.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
