Job summary

Mercy in Oklahoma is seeking a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to assess patients and develop individualized treatment plans for adults and the elderly. The role includes supervising patients and coordinating with rehab technicians and PT assistants in line with State Practice Acts.

The ideal candidate holds a current Oklahoma Physical Therapy license and BLS certification, with six months to one year of rehab experience preferred, especially with geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Current State license of Physical Therapy.
• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• BLS certification is required.
• Six months to one year of rehab experience preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adults and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
