Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver objective assessments and comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients. Under supervision, you will guide patients and supervise rehabilitation staff, ensuring care aligns with Mercy standards and state practice acts.

Requirements include a Bachelor, MS in Physical Therapy or DPT, current or temporary licensure in the practicing state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certified. Certifications must be current before care for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience preferred for Rehabilitation Physical Therapist.
• Experience with care for adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Adhere to Mercy mission, values, and service standards.
