Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Occupational Therapist licensure and CPR certification.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation and adult neurological/general rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aids in restoration of independence for patients through OT evaluation and treatment.
• Develops treatment plans and obtains physician approvals.
• Supervises OT assistants and aides in direct patient care and related activities.
• Documents services in medical records and ensures compliant billing documentation.
• Communicates with families, physicians, and health team members regarding patient progress.
• Educates families and staff on follow-up programs and ADL equipment.
