Job summary

UltaCare Medical is seeking a Psychotherapist (LPC-MMSP/LCSW) for part-time, fee-for-service work to assess, diagnose, and manage mental health conditions in post-acute and long-term care residents. You’ll optimize treatment to improve outcomes, with independence in a remote-capable team setting.

Flexible scheduling and autonomy to work within nursing facilities, collaborating with staff and supervising psychiatrists to ensure quality care. Minimum two years in a psych-focused role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a psych-focused role.
• Experience with nursing home residents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review psychotropic medications per CMS guidelines.
• Provide medication recommendations and follow-up for effectiveness.
• Educate staff on psychiatric illnesses in designated facilities.
• Meet monthly for supervision and guidance with supervising psychiatrist.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct with patients, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with facility staff and attending physicians to meet patient needs.
