Job summary

Deer Oaks Behavioral Health — Long-Term Care Clinical Services seeks a licensed psychologist to join an integrated clinical team onsite at local long-term care facilities. You will provide psychological assessments, individual therapy, and participate in care planning, with strong administrative support and a stable Monday–Friday schedule.

Work closely with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehab teams to deliver evidence-based geriatric behavioral health services and maintain compliant

Qualifications

• Active licensure as a psychologist in the state.
• Experience in geriatric behavioral health preferred.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently within interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and cognitive screenings.
• Provide individual therapy for older adults and those with medical/cognitive conditions.
• Lead family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Lead or co-lead group therapy as appropriate.
• Develop evidence-based individualized treatment plans.
• Maintain caseload with clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with nursing, social work, physicians, and rehab teams.
• Attend interdisciplinary care plan reviews.
• Ensure compliant documentation with HIPAA and regulatory standards.
• Support facility leadership with behavioral health expertise.
