Job summary

Deer Oaks - The Behavioral Health Solution is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our integrated clinical team in a long-term care setting. You will provide therapy, assessments, care planning, and behavioral health support onsite at local facilities, with clinical autonomy and strong administrative backing.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, no evenings or on-call, and opportunities for part-time arrangements.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted psychology license required.
• Experience with geriatric populations and cognitive disorders preferred.
• Ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations, including cognitive screenings and mental status exams.
• Provide individual psychotherapy for older adults with medical or cognitive conditions.
• Lead family therapy and caregiver support sessions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians daily.
• Maintain documentation and regulatory compliance using GNT.
