Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring an experienced RN for the New Hope Senior Behavioral Health Center at Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital in Sullivan, MO. The role focuses on compassionate, patient-centered care for adults 55+ in a warm behavioral health setting, with a strong emphasis on safety and collaboration with the interprofessional team.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care plans, educating patients and families, and promoting recovery and independence

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's required.
• RN license required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care.
