Job summary

Unity Psychiatric Care in Bridgeport, Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse to provide clinical oversight for day-to-day hospital operations and direct patient care in a therapeutic setting. The ideal candidate has an RN license, CPR and CPI certifications, and experience in geriatrics or mental health.

Qualifications

• Requires RN from an accredited school.
• Current State RN license.
• CPR Certification.
• CPI Certification.
• Geriatric and/or mental health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient care on admission and ongoing per nursing standards.
• Maintains current nursing care plans for each patient.
• Assigns patient care tasks and manages staffing allocations.
• Provides IV administration and venipuncture as allowed by state law.
• Educates patients and families on medications and care plans.
