Job summary

Unity Psychiatric Care in Memphis, TN seeks an experienced registered nurse to provide clinical oversight for hospital day-to-day operations, supervise care, and execute physician orders. You will perform assessments, update treatment plans, and lead patient care in a therapeutic setting.

Key duties include nursing care planning, IV administration, patient and family education, completing psychiatric metrics, discharge planning, and coordinating post-hospital care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in nursing.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• RN license in good standing.
• CPR certification required.
• CPI certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for hospital operations and patient care.
• Develop and maintain nursing care plans for each patient.
• Perform IV administration and venipuncture as permitted by state law.
• Educate patients and families about medications and care needs.
• Complete comprehensive nursing assessments and psychiatric metric measures.
• Coordinate discharge planning and post-hospital care to avoid delays.
