Job summary

Unity Psychiatric Care in Tennessee is seeking a clinical nurse leader to oversee day-to-day hospital operations and direct patient care in a geriatric mental health setting. You will implement physician orders, update treatment plans, and supervise nursing staff while ensuring safety and quality of care.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR, CPI certification, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in geriatrics or mental health. Travel may be required and overtime/weekend work is possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Registered Nursing (RN) Degree.
• Current State Registered Nursing (RN) License.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Current CPI Certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient care on admission and ongoing per nursing practice.
• Develop and update individual care plans for each patient.
• Assign patient care tasks and manage staffing to meet needs.
• Administer IV therapies and venipuncture where allowed.
• Educate patients and families about medications and care needs.
• Develop discharge plans and coordinate post-hospital care.
