Job summary

Unity Psychiatric Care in Columbia, TN, seeks an experienced nurse leader to provide clinical oversight for daily hospital operations, supervise nursing staff, and ensure delivery of high-quality psychiatric care.

The role includes developing and updating treatment plans, conducting assessments, coordinating with physicians, and educating families. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Current RN license, CPR and CPI certifications are required.

Qualifications

• RN license and current CPR and CPI certifications.
• Minimum one year nursing experience in geriatrics or mental health.
• Ability to provide clinical oversight and supervise staff.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hospital operations and patient care.
• Implement and update treatment plans and nursing care plans.
• Coordinate with physicians, therapists, and other staff.
• Provide emergency care within appropriate timeframes.
• Complete psychiatric assessments and documentation.
