Job summary

Curana Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to deliver high-quality mental health services across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings. You’ll join a mission-driven team focused on compassionate geriatric care and continuity of care.

The role requires travel to assigned facilities, providing collaborative, patient-centered psychiatric care with a multidisciplinary team across post-acute and long-term care landscapes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with ANCC PMHNP certification.
• Active DEA license, BLS and ACLS certification, and current NP state license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient rounds and manage psychiatric care within SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, specialists, referral sources, and facility staff for coordinated care.
• Assess and manage mental health needs, perform exams, and collect medical histories.
• Order and interpret lab tests, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications, provide treatments, and administer injections as needed.
• Educate patients and families on plans, medications, and preventive care.
