Job summary

Curana Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our growing geriatrics team across SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings. You will deliver high-quality mental health services with a collaborative care team and drive outcomes for older adults.

Travel is required to facilities; you’ll work in a supportive environment with autonomy, ongoing professional development, and strong clinical and administrative support.

Qualifications

• PMHNP with current licensure in state of practice.
• ANCC PMHNP certification required.
• Active RN/NP license and DEA registration required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Travel to several facilities may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care and rounding in SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Collaborate with attending physicians, specialists, referrals, and facility staff for coordinated care.
• Evaluate and manage residents' mental health needs; perform physical exams and histories.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments; provide injections when needed.
• Educate patients and families on medications, plans, and preventive mental health practices.
• Collaborate with care teams to address urgent psychiatric and medical needs.
