Job summary

Curana Health is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality mental health services across Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, Assisted Living and Independent Living communities. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and enhance outcomes for older adults.

The role requires collaboration with physicians, a focus on comprehensive assessment, and the ability to travel to assigned facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program and ANCC PMHNP certification.
• Active DEA license.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Current NP license in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care and rounding in SNF, LTC, AL, and IL settings.
• Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and facility staff.
• Evaluate residents' mental health, perform exams, and obtain histories.
• Order and interpret labs and tests; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and provide treatments; administer injections.
• Educate patients and families on medications and care plans.
