This full-time, W2 role offers face-to-face psychiatry services, DSM-V diagnoses, treatment planning, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Kansas by the Board of Nursing in good standing (psychiatry).
• Licensed by the Kansas Board of Pharmacy to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year of geriatric psychiatry experience.
• 1 year providing treatment in Skilled Nursing Facilities or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess patients' mental status based on symptoms.
• Diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Consider psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
