Behavioral Health Solutions in Fargo, ND is seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Practitioner (PMHNP/PA-C) to join our SNF Psychiatry team, delivering face-to-face services in Skilled Nursing Facilities for the geriatric population.

The role offers a compensation model with base salary plus incentives, generous PTO, CEU allowances, and access to AI note-taking tools to streamline documentation. This full-time W2 position emphasizes stability, support, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA).
• 1 year of Geri Psych Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.
