Job summary

Oak Street Health, a CVS Health company, is seeking a Primary Care Physician to provide equitable, value-based care for local Medicare populations at our neighborhood primary care centers in Providence, RI.

Physicians work within a large care team to improve outcomes, reduce hospital admissions, and deliver preventive care in a patient-centered environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with potential Center Medical Director opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (or eligible).
• Active, non-probationary, unrestricted State License required.
• Active DEA license required; US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients at our local clinics.
• Oversee, direct, and administer primary care.
• Prescribe and administer pharmaceutical treatments and medications.
• Maintain Patient Electronic Medical Record data via canopy and Greenway.
• Collaborate with regional and central leadership to meet health quality goals.
• Work with Practice Managers to direct and manage the center care team.
• Other duties as assigned.
