Job summary

The Home Base Primary Care (HBPC) Medical Director within the Geriatric and Extended Care Service at the Thomas E. Creek VA Health Care System leads clinical oversight of all HBPC programs in Amarillo and surrounding satellite sites.

The role ensures high quality patient care for aging veterans, guides interdisciplinary teams, and coordinates care delivery across clinics, home care, and consultative services within the VA system.

Qualifications

• Degree as a doctor of podiatric medicine, or its equivalent, from an approved school.
• Completed, or currently completing, VA-approved residency leading to board eligibility.
• Currently hold, or will hold, an unrestricted podiatry license in the United States.

Responsibilities
