Job summary

Curana Health is seeking physicians to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in skilled nursing facilities and senior living communities. You will lead clinical teams, set patient flow, and practice medicine on your terms with flexible scheduling and strong administrative support.

Medical Directorship opportunities exist, with leadership responsibilities and compensation. Expect collaboration with APPs, quality improvement initiatives, and support from Curana’s data-driven, value-based care

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or Hospital Medicine.
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of employment.
• Active DEA license and proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide history and physicals on new patients and conduct routine rounds (minimum once per week).
• Partner with APPs to manage regulatory and complex patient visits, ensuring clinical excellence.
• Oversee APP performance and mentor the clinical team to elevate care delivery.
• Close quality gaps and drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes.
• Advocate for residents and represent Curana Health’s mission as a clinical leader in the communities served.
