Job summary

Bethesda Health Group seeks a Physical Therapist to deliver therapy services and coordinate treatment programs for patients to regain function. You will evaluate progress, plan and implement therapy, and establish goals that lead to improved function.

The role includes education for caregivers and coordinating discharge needs. You will also perform administrative tasks, maintain documentation, and supervise aides, while participating in staff orientation.

Qualifications

• Current State Physical Therapy license required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain within six months.
• 1–2 years geriatrics experience preferred.
• New graduates considered.
• Strong communication and professional responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Physical Therapy services to improve patient function.
• Evaluate and implement treatment plans and establish goals for discharge.
• Provide caretaker education for carryover of therapy.
• Assist with department documentation and discharge planning.
• Supervise aides and contribute to staff orientation.
