Job summary

Majestic Care of Terre Haute, IN is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents in a skilled nursing facility. You will develop individualized plans, provide therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, and educate families to support recovery and safety.

Collaborating with nursing, OT, and speech therapy, you will ensure high-quality, resident-centered care and mentor PTAs while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents’ physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct physical therapy interventions such as therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and manual therapy.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet goals.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on home exercises, safety strategies, and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nursing, OT, and speech therapy to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care.
• Oversee and support PTAs in accordance with state acts and facility guidelines.
• Evaluate team member performance and contribute to professional growth and accountability.
