Job summary

MASC Medical in Leesburg, FL is seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician for a full-time, outpatient geriatrics-focused role. The schedule runs Monday–Friday, with no weekends or hospital rounds, emphasizing preventive and longitudinal care in a supportive environment.

You will deliver comprehensive primary care, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with NPs and care coordinators while using EHRs to monitor patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine specialty.
• Active Florida license.
• Current DEA registration.
• At least 3 years of outpatient primary care experience.
• Strong clinical judgment with preventive and longitudinal care.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to a team-based, patient-first care model.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services including evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Deliver preventive care, wellness visits, and health screenings.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans for a geriatric population.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners, care coordinators, and support staff for patient-centered care.
• Utilize EHRs to document encounters and track outcomes.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance care.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and treatment plans.
