Putnam Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a 160-bed skilled facility in New York, seeks an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. The OT provides PRN or full-time services, evaluates and treats geriatric patients, develops individualized plans, and collaborates with nurses, physicians, speech and physical therapists to improve ADLs and independence.

Applicants must hold a current NY OT license, maintain malpractice insurance, and demonstrate compassion, strong communication,

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in NY
• Current malpractice insurance
• Demonstrated compassion and patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work with geriatric population

Responsabilités

• Provide PRN (as-needed) rehabilitation services in the facility
• Evaluate and treat geriatric patients with complex medical, cognitive, and functional needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and ADLs
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, speech and physical therapists to deliver coordinated care
• Provide adaptive equipment training, fall prevention strategies, and patient education
