Job summary

German Centre in Boston is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate residents, design care plans, and provide skilled OT interventions. This PRN, hourly position reflects dedication to independence and safety for residents, with collaboration across the care team.

Requirements include MA OT license, at least 1 year of experience (preferably LTC), and fluency in English. Pay ranges from $55.00–$60.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current, active MA Occupational Therapist license.
• Minimum 1 year experience, preferably in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence, functional abilities, and quality of life.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions to enhance ADLs, upper extremity function, mobility, balance, and safety.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation team members, and families to establish goals and deliver coordinated, resident-centered care.
• Recommend and train residents and caregivers in adaptive equipment, environmental modifications, and fall prevention strategies.
• Complete timely documentation, monitor progress, adjust plans, and maintain regulatory compliance.
