Job summary

Manatawny Manor is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for residents with ADL impairments. The OT will evaluate, treat, document, and facilitate care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Candidates must hold a current Occupational Therapist license and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills to support ADL decline prevention policies and procedures with nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Must have a current Occupational Therapist license.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to evaluate and treat residents with impaired ADLs.
• Document care and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings as required.
• Assist the Director of Nursing Service to develop ADL decline prevention policies and procedures.
