Job summary

Swift Optometry in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a friendly Optometrist to join our team part-time. You will perform routine and medical eye exams, dilated exams, diabetic evaluations, and manage ocular disease in residents of long-term care facilities.

Qualifications

• OD license required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day.
• Prolonged sitting/standing. Fine motor skills for equipment operation. Lifting/moving patients.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive routine and medical eye exams.
• Perform dilated exams.
• Provide diabetic evaluations.
• Treatment of infection and injury.
• Proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease.
• Comfortable working with the geriatric population.
