Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver skilled OT services to adult and geriatric patients in a SNF and post-acute rehab setting, under supervision of a licensed OT.

Join a team focused on ADLs, mobility, strength, cognition and independence, with strong interdisciplinary collaboration. Requirements: accredited OTA program, license or eligibility, and solid communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current OT license or eligibility in applicable state.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute rehab preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled OT treatment per plan of care.
• Implement individualized programs for functional outcomes.
• Treat adults and geriatric patients in SNF/post-acute settings.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate with supervising OT.
• Maintain timely documentation to support care and reimbursement.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and facility staff.
