Pleasant View in Missouri seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist to enhance the daily lives and independence of our residents. You will assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based interventions within an interdisciplinary team to support aging adults.

The ideal candidate holds an OT degree, an active state license, and a proven geriatric practice. You will educate residents and families, document progress in our EHR, and stay current with senior care best practices.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program and an active state license.
• Experience in geriatric or senior living settings preferred.
• Strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills.
• Empathy, communication, and collaboration in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate residents' functional abilities and limitations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to enhance independence and quality of life.
• Provide a range of evidence-based therapy interventions for physical, cognitive, and psychosocial functioning.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create holistic care plans.
• Educate residents, families, and staff on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
• Regularly evaluate progress, adjust plans, and document outcomes.
• Support facility-wide initiatives to promote wellness and safety.
• Stay current with OT practices and geriatrics regulations.
