Job summary

Pleasant View is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our senior living team. You will enhance residents' daily functioning through geriatric therapy, assessments, and individualized treatment plans.

Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will implement evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, and educate residents and families on strategies to maintain independence and safety in daily activities.

Qualifications

• OT degree from an accredited program and valid state license.
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' functional abilities through evaluations and interviews.
• Develop personalized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life.
• Provide evidence-based interventions addressing physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create holistic care plans.
• Educate residents and families on therapy approaches and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans; document outcomes.
• Promote resident engagement and wellness initiatives.
• Stay current with geriatric therapy best practices and regulations.
