Job summary

PACE Southeast Michgan seeks an Occupational Therapist to plan, organize and conduct sensorimotor, educational, recreational, social, and treatment activities to help participants regain function and adjust to disabilities.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate, devise and document treatment plans, teach skills, supervise assistants, and maintain clinical records and registrations while contributing to professional development and quality care.

Qualifications

• Professional level knowledge of Occupational Therapy.
• License/Certification from NBCOT and state registration required.
• Experience with frail or elderly populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rehabilitative services with an inter-disciplinary team.
• Devise and implement treatment programs per plan of care after evaluation.
• Teach skills required for participation in treatment activities.
• Document all care and maintain clinical records accurately.
• Supervise OT assistants and rehabilitation staff when applicable.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy

Licensed by NBCOT and Michigan OT registration
