Job summary

PACE seeks an Occupational Therapist to plan and conduct sensorimotor, educational and therapeutic activities for participants at Eastpointe, MI. You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team and develop individualized treatment plans, documenting care and outcomes.

Prerequisites include a Bachelor’s or higher in Occupational Therapy, MI license, and NBCOT certification. Prior experience with frail or elderly populations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a professional level of knowledge in Occupational Therapy (degree accredited by AMA/AOTA).
• Licensed/registered to practice in Michigan (NBCOT and MI license).
• Experience with frail/elderly populations preferred; two years OT experience.
• Documentation and data entry for clinical records and plans of care.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement sensorimotor, educational, recreational, social, and treatment activities.
• Coordinate rehabilitative services with inter-disciplinary team.
• Develop and adjust treatment plans per care goals and evaluations.
• Document care and submit medical records timely.
• May supervise OT assistants and Rehabilitation staff.
