Job summary

Vivo Gateway in Florida is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to plan, organize, and provide therapy services in a hospital or nursing care facility environment. You will collaborate with the rehabilitation team, review orders, and contribute to discharge planning and quarterly assessments while maintaining accurate treatment records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or nursing care facility preferred.
• Current, unobstructed occupational therapy license in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and provide occupational therapy services in compliance with regulations.
• Review physician orders and schedule therapy as prescribed; select and administer appropriate exercises.
• Assist in discharge planning, care plans, and quarterly resident assessments.
• Maintain detailed treatment records, resident files, and progress notes.
• Support quality assurance programs and ensure regulatory compliance.
