Job summary

Aston Group is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our Skilled Nursing Facility rehabilitation team in Florida. The OT will evaluate residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy to promote independence and safety.

Responsibilities include ADLs-focused therapy, progress monitoring, and compliant documentation. The role involves interdisciplinary care planning, possible supervision of COTAs, and patient-family education.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current OT license in good standing in Florida.
• Geriatric rehabilitation knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
• Provide therapy focused on ADLs, functional mobility, strength, coordination, cognition, and safety.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in compliance with Medicare and facility guidelines.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care planning and discharge planning.
• Supervise COTAs as applicable.
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
