Job summary

Adoration Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a full-time role at The Barclay House at Tarboro, NC. You will evaluate patients, create and adjust treatment plans, and deliver one-on-one care in a supportive setting.

The position emphasizes independence, flexibility, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to improve patient outcomes in geriatric and home-health contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two-step TB skin test required.
• Proof of Auto Insurance.
• Familiarity with independent living, geriatric, home health settings.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; up to 100 pounds with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide safety recommendations and referrals.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as needed.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to optimize patient outcomes.
