Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide and direct all aspects of patient care in a long-term care setting. You will evaluate, plan, and document care, educate staff and families, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise rehab aides, collaborate with the rehab team, and contribute to program development while maintaining licensure and continuing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy curriculum.
• Current, active license as Occupational Therapist.
• CPR certification required for license renewal.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Strong English language reading and verbal communication.
• Mathematical skills for measurements and dosage calculations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients per MD orders and payer guidelines.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for functional outcomes.
• Educate staff and families on benefits and outcomes of intervention.
• Complete documentation including evaluations and progress notes.
• Direct and supervise rehab aides and students per state guidelines.
• Coordinate with rehab team to develop new programs and protocols.
