Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive patient care in a long-term care setting. You will conduct evaluations, develop and implement treatment plans, and ensure documentation meets regulatory standards. You will educate staff and third-party payers on benefits and outcomes.

The role involves supervising rehab staff, staying current with licensure, and collaborating with the rehab team to enhance patient care quality in a challenging 24-hour environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved curriculum in Occupational Therapy.
• Current, active license as Occupational Therapist.
• CPR Certification, as required for license renewal.
• Experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct all aspects of quality patient care including evaluation, treatment planning and documentation.
• Develop treatment plans aligned with benefit and reimbursement for optimal functional outcomes.
• Educate staff and third-party payers on intervention benefits.
• Supervise assistants and rehab staff per state and federal guidelines.
• Maintain licensure, credentialing, and compliant documentation.
