Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support residents with disorders under OT scope under physician order and evaluation. You will optimize residents' functioning, perform screenings, complete documentation, and collaborate with supervising OTR to develop programs while ensuring OBRA guidelines and licensure requirements.

The role requires completion of COTA program and state licensure, plus preferred experience in senior living and knowledge of PDPM and Medicaid Case

Qualifications

• Completion of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
• State licensure required.
• Excellent communication and professionalism.
• Ability to collaborate with supervising OTR.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents with disorders within OT scope as ordered by physician and evaluated.
• Optimize residents' functional abilities and skills.
• Complete objective screenings and thorough documentation.
• Coordinate with supervising OTR to develop client-centered programs.
• Attend required care planning and staff meetings.
