Job summary

Majestic Care is seeking a Registered Dietitian Assistant to document nutrition care, implement plans aligned with standards, and help with IDT care planning. You will monitor resident intake and assist the culinary team to ensure nutrition and sanitation compliance across facilities. Travel between facilities is essential.

The role requires clinical nutrition knowledge, regulatory awareness, and collaboration with the care team to support residents’ nutritional goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or pursuing healthcare field with relevant education.
• Active DTR or CDM certification considered; include practitioner cert within 90 days of hire.
• 1–3 years of clinical documentation experience in healthcare or long-term care.
• Knowledge of local/state/federal statutes for food service and healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Apply clinical nutrition expertise in geriatric and rehab care within skilled nursing.
• Develop and monitor nutrition care plans and interventions.
• Update tray tickets, diet changes, and participate in IDT care planning.
• Monitor meal intake and progress toward nutrition goals.
• Oversee culinary department to meet sanitation and diet standards across facilities.
• Travel between assigned facilities as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics

Active Dietetic Technician Registration (DTR)

Active CDM certification

ServSafe Manager’s Certification
