Job summary

Majestic Care Cedar Village seeks a Registered Dietitian Assistant to document nutrition-related data, develop care plans, and support culinary services. You will assist with MDS assessments, nutrition interventions, and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities in the Cedar Village area.

The role requires coordination with the Registered Dietitian, updating meal plans, and traveling between assigned facilities to uphold nutrition standards and quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent with healthcare emphasis.
• Active Dietetic Technician Registration (DTR) or CDM certification considered.
• 1–3 years of clinical documentation experience in healthcare or long-term care.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory statutes for food service and healthcare.
• Current ServSafe Manager’s Certification

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in clinical nutrition, preferably geriatric and rehab care in skilled nursing.
• Apply critical thinking to assess objectives, develop and monitor improvement plans.
• Work knowledge of computers and software used to perform job tasks.
• Lead and support Culinary CTMs and collaborate with nursing and dietary teams.
• Monitor documentation changes in nutrition care and updates to physicians and care plans.
• Attend meetings and contribute to care planning with the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure sanitation and food service standards across assigned facilities.
