Job summary

Majestic Care in Terre Haute, IN is seeking a Registered Dietitian to lead nutrition assessments and interventions within an interdisciplinary care plan for residents. The role emphasizes clinical nutrition in a skilled nursing setting, with collaborative care planning and education for residents and families.

Ideal candidates will have RD status (or RD eligibility), ServSafe certification, and 1–3 years of related experience; supervision experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian (RD) or RD eligible pending successful completion of the registration exam.
• Licensed in states where required.
• 1–3 years in dietary/food service operations or healthcare/long-term care; supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in clinical nutrition, especially in geriatric and skilled nursing settings.
• Apply critical thinking to assess objectives, develop and monitor improvement plans.
• Maintain documentation in resident medical records and participate in care planning.
• Coordinate nutrition services with nursing, activities, and other departments.
• Educate residents and families on current nutrition status and care options.
• Attend meetings and keep up with dietetics practices and trends.
