American Senior Communities is seeking a Clinical Dietitian Assistant to support the Registered Dietitian in providing nutrition services for residents. You will collect health information, assist with diet plans, and monitor dietary needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.

The role offers exposure to nutrition guidelines, opportunities for professional growth, and potential tuition reimbursement under ASC policies and state education partnerships.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent, actively pursuing a healthcare degree.
• CDM with Practitioner Certificate in Nutrition Care or equivalent preferred.
• Dietetic Technician, Registered preferred; Personal Care Assistant training preferred.

Responsabilités

• Completes and updates nutritional status for resident assessments under the RD.
• Performs resident reviews to identify needs for nutrition services and those at risk.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Records resident weights to monitor significant changes.
• Conducts meal observations and ensures appropriate food type, amount, and frequency.
