Job summary

Views of Cedar Rapids is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for RidgeView and MeadowView to oversee nursing services and ensure high-quality resident care. The role requires leading a team, maintaining policies, and collaborating with families and staff in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate will have an Iowa RN license, extensive geriatric nursing experience, and at least three years of supervisory leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have current RN license in Iowa.
• Experience in geriatric nursing or long-term care management.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe physician orders, administer medications and treatments.
• Assess and evaluate emergency situations.
• Recruit, hire, orient, schedule, teach, supervise and evaluate nursing staff.
• Maintain nursing policies and procedures, resident charts and staff training documentation.
• Communicate with families regarding resident conditions and needs.
