Base pay range

The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) performs direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, feeding, transporting, and related non-professional services for geriatric patients.

Minimum Requirements

• Active CNA with Geriatric Certification, required
• Experience with memory care patients, preferred
• At least one year of recent geriatric nursing assistant experience as a certified nursing assistant
• Graduate from a certified nursing assistant program with active certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clerical functions
• Current CPR certification
• TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray)
• Current health certificate as per regulations
• Meet all federal, state, and local requirements
• At least 18 years of age
